I'd like to see it outside of a simulation. If we could actually build something like this, a lot of problems could potentially be solved. If I'm understanding correctly, the basic components of this thing can move without a loss in energy overall, if it's able to stay in motion without burning energy and having to break down, it could potentially solve all our energy problems.
Imagine a turbine powered not by radioactive materials, but by fabricated crystals that can be in motion consistently without breaking down. No nuclear waste, no radiation. 100% clean energy with no drawback other than replacing the machinery that harnesses energy from them or figuring out what to do with the crystals when we don't feel like using them anymore. That part is easy, we could use them potentially in telescopes and space probes and just send them out to film events in space.
I'm very excited about quantum computing and for those who want to know some of the basics, this is video gives you an intro to the idea:
and a video which explains how we can use them in other applications
Think about what a colorblind person must have felt like seeing colors for the first time, or someone who was deaf experiencing music. Quantum computers could potentially help us build things that dont exist in nature and we will get to experience these things for the first time.
