Ive been here for a few weeks now. First impressions
EVERYTHING is so damn EXPENSIVE, I Know Hawaii is more expensive than the mainland but Christ on a bike.
The people are really friendly
Why are your plugs so weak over here??
Driving on the wrong side of the road is weird, still get in the wrong side of the car.
Why are ppl bagging your groceries still a thing, cant ppl do that themselves
Why should I give my card to someone behind the counter to take it away to make payment. (Weird, almost had to fight a bytch)
There are chickens and rooster EVERYWHERE HERE. My pot is looking kinda empty, gonna fill it real soon.
Tipping hasn't been as confrontational as I thought.
Obviously the weather is GORGEOUS
The food is AMAZING! Ive had pokè more or less everyday. Ive yet to try any junk food, Ive had Denny's does that count? Their syrup was so weirdly sticky, must be the high fructose corn syrup.
I also had the orange chicken from Panda express, it was MEH.
The gym here has alll the equipment, london is slacking. Theres even a calf raising machine, i was like there's a machine for this :russ:
There is fruit on every single tree and no one seems to be eating them, I'm tempted to climb over someones fence. Might get shot tho.
Also the no guns allowed signs freak me out everytime, reminds me theres guns everywhere.
Also alot of people have commented on my accent, feels a bit like a novelty.

I'll come back when I remember anymore.

Going to Hawaii and saying it's your first time in the US is sad. I mean, technically you're not incorrect... but it's still sad.

What are we really talking about in here? Our presidents who are born in Hawaii have their citizenship challenged. :deadrose:
@Caca-faat , neo is right. To put in perspective, it'd be like me landing in the falkland islands or Gibraltar and saying , "I just landed in the UK brehs, ask me anything " :troll:

Anyway, question for you. Have you gone hula dancing(or other Polynesian dances) . Or do you intend to do so while you are out there? Dancing local dances can spice up a vacation :lupe:

Purpose of visit?
What island are you on?
Hit up the beach yet?
See any sharks?
Check out the volcanos?
Came on Vacay with the BF
I’m currently on Oahu but I’ve been to the big Island for a few days. Maui is expensive so may not be go there.
Been to the beach for various reasons but not for swimming unfortunately. All my swimsuits are DRY
Haven’t seen any sharks yet
I’ve been to the volcano on the big island. Seeing the hardened lava flow is breathtaking as it goes on for miles. We went on a hike down to the crater it went on for quite a while. The volcano isn’t active at the moment but there is lots to do on the big island. I also went up to Muana Kea for some star gazing, cold as shyt up there.

Well I needed a US visa so I’m claiming it. I stayed over in LA overnight if that counts.
