I would PREFER to rent a car ofcourse, being from the south but should I?


What places should I visit?

Shopping?

I wanna see Brooklyn.

if you staying in Manhattan you are gonna spend a grip on a Hotel
do not rent a car- driving and parking in manhattan is insane plus there are trains everywhere...just hop on the train..the colors and crazy maps confuse out of towners so you may want to download the MTA app to get any update on train detours.....hoe hit the clubs/lounges...

I dont really club like that anymore so some of the younger bruhs can school you

dont stare at people ( big mistake out of towners do) but dont look down either...just be cool and dont act like you are not from here

It's not as rough and tough as they might lead you to believe.

Every place I visited was just swell.

If you're going to hit every borough staying in Manhattan is a good idea because you will have access to almost every train line. Also don't skimp on the hotel, NY is the bed bug capital of the world don't end up throwing away all your clothes cause you wanted to save a couple bucks.

DO NOT RENT A CAR, Last thing you want to be is lost and stuck in traffic in NY, then mes around have to pay 13-18 dollars to park it everywhere you go.

Get a hop on, hop off bus pass and avoid the subways unless you're going to another burrough.

See a show at the Apollo.

I've been NY before but just never hit the clubs

Never had any problems on my previous visits but to be fair I didn't stray too far from my hotel as I was shopping
