The World, but from BK
QB is def not like it used to be, Iw as over there taking pics like 2 months ago...there's a dope graffiti wall right across from there..and the block after is is Nas' jhs P.S.211...its def not jack move central like it used to be. A lot of latinos in them now. That's pretty much the the trend in a lot of nyc now. PJ's be like a block to two from nice condos now.

Nas used to live there :ahh:

If the goons try to beat your ass or rob you whatever tell your a Nas stan and maybe they will be like :myman: and let you go :ahh:

He goes back there all the time, the video for Nasty & Queens Story was filmed in QB.

He also was the first rapper to bring a platinum plaque back to the projects and he didn't get robbed for it so :manny:

I heard Mobb Deep has taken street related Ls in regards something to do with Prodigy being from Long Island and claiming QB or something those lines.

Sightly off topic but I when to JHS near Marcy Projects and everyone from Marcy loved Jay, dude was like the Elvis of Bed Stuy, this was back in 04 around when Jay dropped The Black Album, my teacher went to the Fade to Black concert and she was horsed the next day from yelling so much.

Dude bought Beyonce to Marcy like 10 years ago, dude used to come every christmas to give gifts and what not to the people that lived there. IDK if he still does that though.

But QB is the GOAT Hip Hop project, Nas, Mobb Deep, AZ, etc... so much talent came out of those projects :wow:

Isn't AZ from brooklyn? :ld:

:russ: man there's enough to see in manhattan and shyt, you'll get a lot more out of it. let us have the other boroughs to ourselves, hit up the guggenheim and mamoun's and call it a day. but you aren't going to get robbed in most parts of queens and brooklyn if you have any common sense

thats the same thing I was thinking, New York in general is wack

Totally Agree! "The Big Apple" my a$$. More like The Rotten Apple! Bloomberg, shady NYPD pigs, high crime, expensive as hell to live along with high taxes, too many grimy a$$ n@ggas & dirty hood rats (both the bytches and rodents) just for starts! Never understood what all the hype was about!

I was just by the bridge the other day after a good long while. It aint as wild as it was back in the day, but you can say that about the city in general.

LOL @ this thread though....night life? :what:

record stores? :what:

QB is a fukking housing project not a tourist destination.

nyc may not be as crazy as it used to be but i still wouldn't advice anybody to go through somewhere like queensbridge regardless of people saying that they're not what they used to be. it's basic common sense.

The last time I was out me and a couple of other people were drinking in the park underneath the triboro. An undercover cop caught us and gave us 3 tickets each. One for open container, one for being in a park after 9 pm and I forget what the third ticket was for. Judge dismissed 2 tickets, but had to pay $15 fine :yeshrug:

Moral of the story, don't hang out in the park past 9 lol
