Tarana is a joke

The sisters alive prior to 1960 would’ve beat all of our asses for this foolishness going on

How do we go from IDA B WELLS, who TOOK ON AND EXPOSED A PROMINENT WHITE RACIST FEMINIST AND A RACIST BRITISH NOBLE. SIMULTANEOUSLY, ON HER OWN.

TO THIS?

The fukk is going on?

She a ugly mad bytch.

That's why he was I'll prepared to deal with a pro like Tucker Carlson.

Tariq isn't prepared to debate anyone, he has a movement called FirstThem and when Tarana points out what's implied by that statement, he immediately capitulates. FirstThem means Black victims need to wait their turn because white predators should be brought to justice first.

the only thing i wish he would've done is provide a space on that site where people could compile these stories and we could discuss ways to get them out for the maximum effect.

we also need to have a plan of action for when white people try to ignore the calls to bring their own to justice.

Real talk :salute: You should hit him up with that idea, cant be too hard to implement

Don’t have a problem with it. Because if we don’t after rkelly it’ll be someone else Black, then someone else Black and so on and so forth but always someone Black. And when we ask about when we’re gonna get to the whites the whole thing will be dropped, or we’ll hear about our need to be “patient.”

What were all these people doing about rkelly this time last year? Or the year before that? Before the chance for a little fame and white acceptance came along?

Maybe you haven't been following this story closely but it's not about allegations from 20 years ago, the only reason it's mentioned in the documentary is because it's apart of R. Kelly's story and helps flesh out who he is as a person.

Before this documentary was made, the parents of the women who live with him have been exhausting all of their resources to bring R. Kelly to justice for things related to their daughter. They've been on MTV and other media outlets long before this documentary was a thing. The documentary is yet another platform for victims of alleged crimes that have taken place RECENTLY. The narrative that there's some secret white men behind the scenes trying to paint Black men as the face of the MeToo movement is bullshyt and doesn't pass the smell test.

At one point people were pointing at Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey claiming that nothing has happened to them when in reality, the impact to both of their careers and livelihoods has been more damaging than R. Kelly's who still has a career. Kevin Spacey was in court less than two weeks ago for his crimes and Harvey Weinstein is out on a 1million dollar bail for his crimes, there's also a documentary on his crimes that premiered at Sundance.

Point is, this is about R. Kelly not Black men.
