Never saw the appeal of chicken and waffles. Tried that shyt once.

It’s cool. First time I had it was at Roscoe’s out in LA (the one in Inglewood near Randy’s Donuts). The waffles were aight, weren’t really nothing special. But the fried chicken tho? I poured some syrup on them and fukked that chicken up!

Chicken & Waffles is cool but I personally think they’re a lil overrated especially as a brunch/day party menu item.

Fish & Gritz where the grits are thick creamy and hot with some saltpepperbutter, cheese, and sometimes with sautéed onions/mushrooms and the fish is either fried whiting or fried catfish with some hot sauce on top OR some fried salmon cakes OR if the fish is this pepper mackerel stew that my mom be making with shyto spice

I've never had fish with grits, and I don't recall ever having chicken with waffles although it's on my bucket list. I'd probably go with the latter though. Had shrimp and grits, and I wasn't impressed. Grits are overrated.
