Same shyt happened to me. The first time I caught one my pops had to take it off the line for me. You gotta flip em on their back and step on the tail to take the hook out. I tried to eat the wings once because somebody told my uncle they're good if you marinate them in lemon juice for a day.

When we took the wings to the house them shyts was still moving and they were cut off. After that I didn't want that shyt.

It's been raining a lot out here lately so I haven't been able to fish. Good luck breh. The one thing that I learned about fishing is that fishermen are some of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet. I never seen an argument occur while fishing. I never seen two men fighting while fishing. Fishermen fish to get away from the bullshyt.
