i purchased one of these filled with whole cashews and ate more than half :flabbynsick:

i couldn't resist and finished the rest before i went to sleep :flabbynsick:


i heard of people being able to eat a handful of their favorite snacks and then close the bag or container and I'm like:

Fasting has been my thing. I eat my entire cals in a 3 hour span. I fast an entire day once per week as well. Also, I judge my calories based on my weekly average that way I can factor in my splurge meals without going my calories for the week. So if I know, I might grub out one a certain day I adjust my daily calories for the week. Ex. if my weekly cals are 12,600. If I am eating 100% clean, I'll eat 2,100kcal per day. But if I know I am going to eat 3,600 cals in one day. I will consume 1,800kcal per day.

A must have item is a food scale, weigh everything. Track it in Myfitnesspal, log it and keep yourself accountable. You got this breh.

Idk if it's the best thing to do, but I fast every single day. I don't purchase foods that can be easily snacked on either. I eat a meal once or twice a day depending on how busy I will be. No snacking and only drink water. Good luck 😃

What did you do to lose weight and why is that method no longer working?

i did intermittent fasting. ate from 12-6. keto. chicken and vegetables mostly. I'm to the point were I'm good with the weight loss and want to maintain. so i want to eat more carbs and things that i like but i find it hard to control and portion etc

I've always yo-yo'd with weight so i know i have to be careful

yea i guess i gotta go back to IF. i tried to do what friends and family do, eating meals through out the day and snacking but it's too difficult to stay honest. I've been cheating and over eating :snoop:

It is a simple solution, but it is not easy........ it's called research and discipline. You're not gonna fimd a silver bullet in a chat forum. Read some articles on meal planning based on your fitness or body objectives and plan it out. All these fasting fads are just that... .. fads..... you want something that is maintainable over the long term and not a quick fix....... you'd be surprised how most people over eat.

It's all discipline, I've literally been eating the same lunch everyday for 9 months:yeshrug:

Start by drinking only water consistently and the food aspect will be much easier. I mostly eat vegetables though but I switch up stuff with seasoning. People think I'm a vegan but I just don't eat much meat because of the cost nowadays, i even switched to pea protein powder.:manny:
