I still think y'all are gonna buckle...
Buckle? Nah . The rest of the league said they won't give him his money. Problem is with outside looking in non jets people who believe that the Jets FO look at Fitz as the end all when Gailey (OC) isn't a big fan of his, nor is Mac (GM). It's the head coach that is....the GM and OC feel otherwise.

Look at this highlight film. It's not full of stellar throws and is mostly built on who Fitz receivers are. I saw this all last season and like me, the Jets as an org aren't convinced

Trust me I know that bum is a product of the receivers y'all got after watching a few games last season...

I just don't see an answer on the depth chart, unless you turn it back over to Geno to let him sink for good or swim...

Geno put up the same numbers in the one game he played.

I honestly think they are comfortable with him repeating what Fitz did

But he doesn't
But he does. He put up the best numbers of any jets qb all time. Sure he's not the greatest, but look at the market. You got nikkas like Sam Bradford making more money than him and his backup making what the jets wanna play Fitz. It's business brehs

...yet not 1 team in the NFL is willing to pay him.

You are worth what the market determines you're worth

Well in a black and white world you'd be right. Add some context and you realize that sure the league doesn't view him as a great qb. Teams would ante up for him but realize he's a product of the system and talent around him and also not a long term solution. For the jets, he's worth the money. For some other teams not so much.

What do you mean he does? Denver turned him down. Every other team that needed a qb turned hm down. The market said no.

Worth the money to what? Miss the playoffs? We have one of the toughest schedules in the league this season coming off one of the easiest last year.

Obviously the jets disagree with you since months later he's still unsigned.

And he went from saying he would retire if he doesn't get his payday to now saying he's going to play.

There's certainly a market for Fitz, just not at the number he currently wants. It's still only May anyways.
