Five Guys Is Overpriced

I haven't had Five Guys in over a year, but they just build this new one close to my house. So I decided to try it again. Anyway, I walked inside and looked at the menu. When I saw $6.70 for a Cheeseburger. I said fukk it and went to the Kroger across the street. Got some hamburger meat, buns, fries and went home to cook a better hamburger than Five Guys for less than $6.

Yeah, I believe my burgers are the best in the world. Good flavor, plenty of toppings and cheese, butter-toasted bun. Man, y'all got me hungry now.

I agree though...sometimes I feel ...when I go to burger king or some chicken spot and ring up $7........and think I could have made myself 4 or 5 meals of the same thing for $10 ...if I wasn't "feigning" for somebody else to cook or a particular restaurant

First time I had five guys was the day I got out of the emergency room, my mama came over to the crib and brought me a cheeseburger and a brown bag full of fries. This is why we don't live long.

I have the same issue. It's either spend $10 at Chik-fil-a or use that $10 to make hamburger helper for the next 2 days.

Im not a big fan of burgers but i will eat 5 guys. Since, I dont eat it, i dont know how expensive it is relative to other burger joints. I only eat the bacon cheeseburger. i dont like their fries.

paid over $15 last weekend when I got the grilled chicken with reduced fat vodka sauce pasta, and turkey meatballs. the food was meh, and not worth what I paid.

OP must be really broke. You're not supposed to go out to eat and then complain about the price. Spending money is what going out to eat is all about....Otherwise cook your food at home.

Five guys is an afterclub spot. You're supposed to be drunk or tipsy to appreciate it. Out by me, you only find long lines there after the bars let out. The food definitely soaks up the alcohol. It serves its purpose.
