Bungie was fully owned by Microsoft and they left because of lack of freedom develop other games besides Halo. Not only that Bungie and Activision gave them first dibs on the marketing too. PlayStation came along with a bigger check. Also Microsoft paid a ridiculous amount of money to keep Titan Fall off of PS4 when they could've probably spent less money you making a time exclusive deal.
