the replies in this thread did not disappoint :dead:

As someone who is in his mid 30s (I'm 34) and from NYC like Fivo is.... the ONLY ridiculous statement is him saying he grew up on Chief Keef music when he was likely in his early 20s in 2012.

I love Nas music, he's in my top 5 and I loved I can as a kid but he wasn't poppin like that with the youth who grew up in the 2000s.

the keef shyt was by far the most ridic shyt he said for sure. i dont think the coli nas stans understand that a lot of "street nikkas" werent playing nas like that in the 2000s in NY. shyt even my GOAT jay was considered corny by like 06 to a lot of these cats. obviously him saying that he doesnt know a nas verse besides one mic is crazy too, but yall gotta stop posting in here like nas was a main staple in NY after 02ish. these hood nikkas were living and dying off of dipset, 50, lox and shyt like that.

Dipset or G-unit makes sense for a 37 year old, although I gotta question where the fukk you grew up if you didn’t listen to hiphop before you were 15 :jbhmm:

Dude has some psychological damage about his age though, he needs to see someone. Every year it’s some fugazi shyt about his age :mjlol:

I got a ipod or computer. He not driving or huddling over a radio. And if it did get played. It went in one ear and out the other. Thats not his type of music
:heh:
LOL @ a 14/15 year old driving. You just saying anything. 2004/2005 was the era of burning CDs and mixtapes not ipods. You aren't familiar with NYC radio and how much of a factor it was around that time because everything you just said sounds unfamiliar. I'm gonna let you cook tho, I knew you would be drooling as soon as you saw that thread title before I clicked in here.

Yall making fun of him

Yall 40+ and still going by headlines and not listening

He never said he grew up on Keef. He said he grew up with Sosa and Nino who are his friends.

Jim then ask who are some influences that made he want to rap. He named Keef, Meek, Jimmy & Santana

But the truth dont matter to yall when Nas is mentioned
