NYC is full of have and have-nots. Like Spud said, a 1 bedroom runs like 1400-1500 a month easily and you won't be in a good area. 90% of the country you could find places much cheaper and in much better condition with much more space. Cause we not even adding in those apartments going for 1500 are small, and old as hell. LA is cheaper than NY and their living conditions are way better for the prices.

There's definitely opportunity out here and if you're in the right field, you can make a good living. But nikkas busting their ass and making peanuts.

When I was 26, I worked and still had to sell weed on the side to make extra income just to be okay.
