I said it for a long time, there is no financial advantage for rapper to make explicit songs.

Radio friendly songs get way more play, get used way more in commercials. get sampled more, and are generally much more highly profitable.

Only reason they curse or at least don't make a clean version of the record is because they like being broke. or think keeping it real is better than money.
