Detroit will not reach a thriving metropolis worth traveling to for maybe another 30-40 years ...there's no industry, auto makers are moving their operations over seas and as technology changes the rail road system and import export to Canada isn't needed anymore.

Detroit needed an industry ...that's the problem
30 to 40 years isnt a long time. Maybe they should just take out an IMF loan and rebuild in a couple days. . :heh:

Detroit WILL come back. It will be back as America's next favorite bubble city though. The only way it STAYS a truly viable city for the 21st century, is if it gets it's own Silicon Vallyesque sort of region. Or if major industry comes back to it (doubtful). Either way it will be a great bubble story for a few years. . . Then the bottom will fall out again after a few years.

I'd buy. . . shyt I might just buy. . . Then dump.
