Good. The Knicks need to be better defensively.

...but the Knicks were 29th in 3 pointers this season. How will he address that?

The same way all Knicks coaches not named Holtzman or Riley deals with any basketball issue:

  • Talk tough at intro press conference so the fans can get their "We byke!" on
  • Run a training camp where the "just get the ball to the hands of our best player since we're always down and don't have offensive talent anyway" offense is installed
  • Tell the media every other day that everyone, including the fans, needs patience and to trust the process
  • Have inappropriate sexual encounters with a chick who is somehow, someway connected to the NYK
  • Have inappropriate sexual encounters with the NYK fanbase everytime your team rapes their loyalty with yet another season from the toilet
  • Beg for Spike Lee's approval
  • Realize Knick fans REALLY don't care about anything (This is known as the "Why else would they keep buying tickets to this sh1t--show?" moment) THEN smile widely because you realize you're actually gonna see year 2 of your contract
  • Curl up into the fetal position while you regale Knick fans about the toughness of the 90s
  • Get fired, clear out your office, and sign your final check with a heavy heart as it signifies the final time you're getting paid to go in dry on the unpeppered angus of the Mecca's fanbase.

ATL to MEM
I doubt this is a shyt at Durant as cupcake is a general term when it comes to softness BUT if the Knicks had a chance at Durant and passed because he a cupcake then everyone in the organization should be fired down to the people selling hot dogs.

Don't shoot the messenger. Tell the Garden management to stop taking it easy if you really care about the NYK.

I do know some sports fans have this sick mindset that being a fan of a Factory of Sadness is actually a badge honor. I'm sure tons of NYK fans are at that point now seeing that 90% of the franchise's history is a tragedy played out at "The World's Greatest Arena" for all the world to see.
