Seriously though. He makes Jeb look decent.
He's like the prototypical Big-Business Privatization conservative politician. Who also happens to be a thief who stole billions of dollars.
Add ideologue who is just stupidly opposed to anything proposed by Democrats/Obama and/or involves federal spending for common sense stuff that shouldn't be controversial like all these tea party jackasses.
The high speed rail from Orlando to Tampa was expected to create about 20,000+ jobs and generate a ton of revenue by all credible estimates, and it had the support of his own party, and the Florida business community, and passed through the state legislature with bipartisan support.
The federal government was going to fund the thing. He refused to sign off because he said he was concerned about cost overruns. But that was bullshyt because private corporations offered to cover any additional costs because they would make money off it too. So he vetoed it just because he didn't want Obama/government infrastructure investment to get a clear win.
It would've added jobs, revitalized the economy and we would've had high speed rail that would've ultimately connected Atlanta, Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, and Miami. They chose Florida as the model because it was thought to be the most surefire success for high speed rail in America. But no, we can't have people thinking government can work!
