even keeping it kayfabe is wrestling was a legit sport having the belt multiple times means you lost it a lot of times...so a longer reign with more defenses means more than playing hot potato with the belt...keeping it kayfabe

I'd rather be undefeated with one long title reign than having 10 losses on my record with 11 title reigns...

Hulk Hogan having the belt from 1984-1988 is the most impressive title run in the history of the business from an impact standpoint...having the belt that long and still being popular and the number one attraction in the industry will never happen again

Flair has no reason to care. John Cena probably doesn't even care. The only people worried about this stupid record are a few fans.. Records don't mean anything in wrestling, this one doesn't and neither does the Divas Title record, especially that one.

Half of cena`s reigns I don't even remember half his reigns. Don't care that much about him breaking the 16th reign mark, but I always say it's quality over quantity when it comes to championship reigns.
