I always find this talking point funny--in general, not just marraige--because usually resolutions are presented, but, ignored by ppl critiquing the conversation.
For example, the reparations discussion is deemed "just complaining with no solutions." No, it's a lot of solutions, just not that "black ppl need to own their own business" as a solution.
As for marraige, a lot of the first resolutions presented is ppl being more realistic.

I understand the hyperbole.
But, I don't think talking about marriage is frivolous or having discussions.
Granted, the discussion DO need to evolve.

Brehs still posting "What would you do if your wife step out the house wearing this" memes and posting goofy shyt like "If your wife got your sister pregnaant by her baby cousin, brother best friend, on Thanksgiving, would you stay?".
The black marriage rate has dropped like a fly in the last 12 years, too. So, a discussion is still needed.
