Is "the government" (which ones and why) is all powerful enough to hide the fact that the Earth is flat, except to some nikkas wearing headdresses on youtube, which begets the question of how these mysterious negroes know?
Such blatant anti-intellectualism veiled behind faux philosophic garbage that says nothing, means nothing and proves nothing. Watching youtube and reading blogs and taking their word as gospel over people that have spent their entire lives studying something is somehow more meritorious and worth praise and adulation. It's reductive, hypocritical, and honestly sad. That you don't see the double standard you live by is pathetic.
But go ahead and talk about "circle jerks" and shyt while you and the other very smart nikkas™ all sit together in a non-euclidian oval and beat each other off.

I'm well aware of the history. I'm also well aware of the time which it takes ideas to filter through a society and begin having mass impact. The things I listed are quite specifically a reaction against institutional norms. Staying on topic, though: what is the reason that every flat earther gives for their beliefs? Is it that they have demonstrable evidence to prove them? Or is it that they've reinterpreted the evidence in a way the those prior to them have somehow missed? Or is it that they believe "the man" is using some manipulative means to enforce a false reality for their own oppressive ends?
