I really dont understand the point of debating flat earthers.

They just claim to not believe in any type of proof offered while claiming that no one can offer any proof to refute any claim they made.

If you start making sense, posters like @[B]xCivicx[/B] will just threaten to ignore you.

Its like "the earth is flat, prove me wrong. And by the way, we dont believe in GPS, space, time, gravity, pictures, videos, science, flight paths or any other type of proof you can offer. So offer us proof that aligns with our limited knowledge of how the world works."

Planes have very strict rules regarding their flight routes, due to both safety and political reasons.

For example, flights going over Tibet are banned due to the mountain ranges in the region.

However frequent fliers may not realise that planes also don’t fly over Antarctica either albeit an entirely different reason.

Whilst charter flights may still be able to fly over it, commercial airlines rarely do.​

There was a thread about a flat earth documentary where flat earthers pooled together a bunch of money to buy a laser gyroscope to prove that there isnt a rotation. They ended up wasting a bunch of money to prove themselves wrong.

Yeah, that was 'Behind the Curve'. Dude actually proved the Earth was round, just like the Flat Earther that took a pic of a ship vanishing, bottom-first, over the horizon and started Juelzing like a mufukka.........​

I tried to post a article explaining how a laser gyroscope works and dude said he's not responding to me anymore cause the article had pictures to help understand how they work.

Dude put me on ignore when I challenged him to a Ban Bet because I was taking too long to respond when, in reality, I was waiting for the mods to okay the Bet. They did, but by the time I found out, it was too late. I posted the proof anyhow and he has YET to respond.......because he CAN'T!!!!!​

He also said that it didnt matter if that flat earther experiment was real cause he doesn't follow the same flat earth model that they were using, but he has never been able to explain the flat earth model that he agrees with.

Flat Earthers don't HAVE a model. They have MULTIPLE models that contradict each other. The model that explains the seasons contradicts the model they supply to explain sunrises/sunsets, etc. That's why they always resort to claiming your argument against their 'model' is flawed........

They're ALL liars and don't understand science whatsoever because Dunning-Kruger is REAL!!!​

A couple of their patent responses are: Electromagnetism explains it. Problem is, electromagnetism affects different substances differently so the electromagnetic constant wouldn't be constant OR consistent enough to make any type of prediction.

Another response is: Buoyancy and density explains it. Problem with that is density isn't a 'force', buoyancy causes objects to go up, not down, and THAT runs into problems due to the atmospheric pressure gradient.​
