ive been saying this since '96.

i dont know about him being top 2 in bone(lyrically he was tho), but t.h.u.g.s. wouldve easily been the best solo album.

My nikka:myman:

Another thing that trips me out is he can still do the non whisper flow. His verse on "See Me Shine" was:lawd:

That has everything to do with the producer, using 3 and 4 layers, instead of simply one or 2.

Flesh has shown he still can use this flow when he wants, Post AOW Bone biggest issues have been their producers, not giving them beats that compliment their sound, using unnecessary multi layers substituting clarity, for the illusion of speed, and horrible mixing and mastering of their tracks. Bone needs Uneek, and Tony C back.

Lets see how DJ Quick brings to the table with production for their next album

Speaking of Flesh, I always wondered why they didn't put in his original verse for that Rebirth track. I thought it sounded way better than the finished product :manny:

:40 mark

Flesh helped carry BTNHResurrection while Krayzie was out doing his thing for TM1999 and he doesn't really get his props for that.

thug mentality was much better breh
:yeshrug:
Hard toss up, considering I had 3 seperate paragraph's written out and erased all of them.

TM disk 2 was all over the place and had unnecessary filler, THUGS on the other hand is what a Bone solo was supposed to be, Flesh made sure he preached to his core, while having very few softer songs.

Tracks like World So Cruel, Player Hater, Bone in Me(album verison)>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kray's solo existence, and I was a Kray fan far before I was a Bone fan

I know, Tomica fukked up Lay's(who was clearly the best member at that time) first solo also :snoop:, but even so I didn't really like the product at that time, I'm not sure was it because of obvious cut tracks, or because Bizzy was clearly trying to separate himself more with the singing in melodies rather than rapping like on E99 and COACU. HM just gives me an unfuffilled feeling I try not to revisit, especiallly when some of those throwaway tracks of that Era from Bizzy leaks, and have me like  like this from last year with Bizzy and Kray, [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyqmY-bTOsw"]Bizzy Bone ft. Nina Ross - Unreleased Track from Heaven'z Movie Era (Full Version) - YouTube[/ame]

[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1RLa2YA1Eis"]Black Hole Of Watts feat. Bizzy Bone, Krayzie Bone - Bone, The Get Together - YouTube[/ame]

I Just can't stand how Bizzy fans try to hard down argue me that the incomplete ass album HM is the best Bone solo.

what layzie cd are you talking about? when?

That has everything to do with the producer, using 3 and 4 layers, instead of simply one or 2.

if thats the case, then whatever damon elliot was doing, flesh told his other producers(including u-neek) to do the same thing.

Bizzy and Kray fans always gotta slight Flesh, knowing damn well T.H.U.G.S.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Any Bone Solo:childplease:

nah. its LAYZIE over here.

like i said, tthugs couldve been the best but the lack of clarity makes everything else worthless to an extent, particularly when the album's sound gets really dark in the middle. not saying that the beats were bad, but dark beats and a rapper swiftly whispering is a terrible mashup. they dont go together at all.

Thug by Nature, It was supposed straight aggressive, with Lay airing out Bone's dirty laundry(Lay and Bizzy vs Kray) and how ruthless was fukking them over, and every track was meant to go in a specific order with the tracks titles mirroring a Letter, which was How Bizzy Bone Dear Layzie came about which was supposed to be the intro.Ruthless chopped up the project Layzie never even got backing for the album from Ruthless, which is why he released it, under an Alias L Burna........................You can tell Lay lost his passion for rap after playing the politics with this album

I was a die hard fan and roamed Bone Boards since DNA level C and UBB so I got to know people in their camp

I agree about the whispering its hard to listen to his solo album compared to the other members i mean if u listen to them over and over u can tell he has dope bars but its just hard to hear them right away
