Thug by Nature, It was supposed straight aggressive, with Lay airing out Bone's dirty laundry(Lay and Bizzy vs Kray) and how ruthless was fukking them over, and every track was meant to go in a specific order with the tracks titles mirroring a Letter, which was How Bizzy Bone Dear Layzie came about which was supposed to be the intro.Ruthless chopped up the project Layzie never even got backing for the album from Ruthless, which is why he released it, under an Alias L Burna........................You can tell Lay lost his passion for rap after playing the politics with this album
I was a die hard fan and roamed Bone Boards since DNA level C and UBB so I got to know people in their camp
thug by nature is the chit tho. underrated. i didnt know the backstory tho. i knew something wasnt right. didnt he drop the album on koch?
and does anybody know what the deal is with the black hole of watts? i know they were on mo thugs by 2000. but i can tell that the song on page 1 with bizzy & layzie is from like '95.
Anything can be better than thatYeah Flesh used to go in.........hopefully Art of War II is a LOT better than Uni-5![]()
Yeah Flesh's old flow was dope! His verse on Down Foe My Thang and Crept and We Came were ill
But the flow he used on the Resurrection album, which was a combo of his whisper and E.1999 flow was easily the best. Flesh and Bizzy made that album.
Apples to Oranges brehi'll take layzie over bizzy on the resurrection album.
That has everything to do with the producer, using 3 and 4 layers, instead of simply one or 2.
Flesh has shown he still can use this flow when he wants, Post AOW Bone biggest issues have been their producers, not giving them beats that compliment their sound, using unnecessary multi layers substituting clarity, for the illusion of speed, and horrible mixing and mastering of their tracks. Bone needs Uneek, and Tony C back.
Lets see how DJ Quick brings to the table with production for their next album
