Same thoughts in my headIt's a real possibility....when something like that happens, you usually have very few real friends left. And if you think you do.....you must be really sure. If she has enough cash to make partial payment, and flees to Mexico, and has good people on her side, she will live. I think she will be picked up in the Los Angeles area, and she will probably have to cooperate with the feds.....if she doesn't, and she has enough assets, or 'friends' for a lawyer, she may be able to work out a deal with out talking. But, talking is her easiest way out of this. Someone trusted her enough to take those 35, so she is either a person of confidence, or this has been one of many runs.
If it was a simple loss, she would probably have to just work it off, or work for free, but she is burned now. She can't work anymore, and it's unlikely she has 250,000 liquid to put up.

She's from New York, I am curious where she was flying to.....If the kilos were coming from Jamaica, they were really confident she wasn't getting checked, to not just claim the load when it touched down in the US....or was she taking the work from LA elsewhere in the country, to a buyer in New York? She spoke (likely Jamaican) into the phone, so we can assume her handler is Jamaican....and perhaps the owner of the load as well
Second, it was 11 packages that weighed 35 kilos? Kilos don't come like that, hence the name. Or, 2 kilos wrapped in each package? Were these already worked on? Or, like I was saying in an earlier post coming from Hati Jamaica, elsewhere, (straight from a source country) and they are just on some wierd shyt? But, even blocks straight out of Peru are kilo bricks, with a stamp and marking....(generally speaking)
Third, the markings....'Big Ranch', kilos coming up from Mexico would never be labeled like that. Numbers or names, or a combination, always in spanish.
