I thought that them shyts was going to be EVERYWHERE and would have that nikka near star status around the country. They weren't total failures I guess because they helped get him the MMG deal, but they weren't anywhere near as big as I thought they'd be.

It's a flop fam it's that simple... It wasn't a problem when Rap & R&B was killing the charts & Pop & Rock & Country were struggling & now it's the opposite... Can't bend the rules cuz the balls not in our court anymore... business is business & a song outside the Top 40 generates no money & sometimes even costs people more money then it was worth pushing...

Just because a few hood nikkas like Ross doesn't mean dude makes Hits anymore. His earlier work spawned a few Top 10 HH/RB Hits & had a few Platinum songs but dude just hasn't had any lately...

:ohhh: could've swore that shyt was bigger than that. Now that i'm lookin at it, lookin back out of all the drizzy assisted singles last year who woulda thought that Mr. Press conference himself with the most anticipated album of the summer woulda dropped the least successful one of that year



What i was tryna say tho wasn't really defending Diced Pineapples but more of the top 40 not really the concrete number anymore, Using that criteria can think of like 8 rap singles that didn't flop last year then, need to be a lil more lenient on the exact billboard number. Turn on the Lights for example, that aint top 40 but no one with their mind right gonna be callin that song a flop. I consider in the 50-60's to be pretty solid as well, hiphop been doin good this year tho

Of course I aint even gonna fukk wit you on the buisness part :whoa: ima just take your word on that one. I'm just a young nikka listening to hiphopnation and seein what people fukks with.
