I will never understand how this didnt blow, I just knew this would be the biggest song of fatboys career
Nicki at her peak, Ross at his peak = flop :mindblown:

:scusthov: I actually felt like this was a terrible single. Hated both of those joints

Serious? Song was all over summer '05. It wasn't 'In Da Club' but it flop it was not.

And 50's Outta Control was nowhere close to being a flop

This. Definitely far from a flop and (at least to me) I knew it was going to be an immediate smash the first time I heard it on the radio. Still bump the track to this day; I don't think anyone cares about/remembers the original at this point.

FLOP:

I didn't see the signs of 50's decline and I thought the hook was good enough to catch
and it vaguely sounds like On Fire which was a hit

and I guess I was overestimating NY's success in rap in general at the time

I thought this was going to blow up before that though, already thought Hands Up was going to flop when this flopped first:

This was Timbaland in the JT/Nelly Furtado days when they had like 10 top 10 hits in one year. They had the idea for the video at the playboy mansion and everything. Guess that was the inner stan hoping for new G-Unit glory back then :to:
