I would have jumped in and tried to shoot the windows out, idc about a potential lawsuit. I'm not letting people die pointlessly. But apparently, it was to late for that. Not sure what they could have done. It's not like they had goggles and scuba gear. Never has the saying "Play stupid games, win stupid prizes." been more appropriate. However, I feel at least one girl in that car didn't want to be involved in the theft and car chase. So that sucks she had to die for something she probably wanted no part of.

I live in central Florida and that was the first thing I thought. If this was in the midwest or up north then it would be a problem but jumping into the freshwater ponds here is like jumping into quick sand with alligators around. That could've been the Pope carrying baby Jesus and I would still wait for a boat or something to properly get out there.
