Problem with Florida for Dems is that it's the electorate itself that is changing. Florida was close to 50/50 for many years so even the slightest change in % of voters who are older or more conservative is all that matters. Not to mention huge numbers of Cuban/Venezuelans etc.

If there is any lessons to be learned from Trump's time as President, its that militants or black nationalists views tend to overlap with white nationalists/white extremists.

Militants and black nationalists don't really seem bothered by what DeSantis has done or want to do to black people. As long as he sticks it to the Hispanics, LGBTs and the AOC woke left.

This is another reason why DeSantis is not to be underestimated. He actually has black support similar to Trump even if its not easily noticeable.
