i know you had mentioned cali and I don't know what the hell going on over there. its like the crime runs rampant over there. i see videos often of people just shoplifting with others randomly filming them or cars getting broken into, especially SF. I think I heard that certain crime isn't as punishable out there. plus the high COL has given a rise to burglaries. I never been there so I can't speak on what truly goes on, but it's shown as a place with a lot of crime and burglaries.
No one give a fukk about any of that wonky shyt. I'm talking about quality of life. If it's all good for you in Cali and NY then stay there. It's not like us that's living in the south is going to miss any of y'all presence. Y'all acting like it's a privilege to have y'all muthaphuckas down here. If you are highly educated, highly skilled make a lot of money, and are relatively young, Blue states are the best hands down.
Red states are POOR. Blue states are forced to help y'all out. Only retirees from blue states, highly skilled remote workers( working for blue states companies, or racist old-money white families are thriving in Red states.

Most people I know who have moved to Florida have done so because they perceive it to be a better life. Warm weather, houses with pools, cost of living, etc. not politics.
You should see what they've done to my beloved CharlotteYep. And that’s what I think is bad. Over development. That isn’t good. Florida is over developing like crazy. Some of these are sinking areas. But, capitalism is capitalizing. By any means.
Im not a DeSantis fan by any means. He like other modern republicans are going ham against what they deem “woke culture”. Woke has lost its meaning, because folks like DeSantis just throw woke on anything they disagree with. BUT, the numbers speak for themselves. The blue states can have all the safety nets they want, but ppl are still suffering in those states. NY, Cali, etc. Those are states with most Fortune 500 billion dollar industries. They’re happy participants in capitalism like the rest of us. But act as though because they have some safety nets, that everyone is gonna benefit in their economies. Folks are fleeing for a reason. If you’re part of that privileged few who has a decent STEM job, you can get by in NY and CA. Same deal with Florida. But ppl are acting like the necessity for a STEM job in Florida, is a mark against the states economy, when in reality, wage slaves are suffering in every state. There’s only a handful of certain states where one can just work at a rinky dink job, and still afford rent.You should see what they've done to my beloved Charlotte
Also the reason why a lot of these party loyalists on here are bugging out at this news is that there's supposed to be this narrative that Ron Desantis is unpopular and terrible governor.
