I understand the thought process and I think that they are getting compared to last year's team that was thumping teams but you can't say that week in and week out, they've looked like the best team in the nation. Like when they went into Death Valley and gave Clemson that work. This year, good, not great. However, most importantly, undefeated. They can prove their merits in the playoff.

however one thing is that after Bama's thrashing of TAMU, Mississippi State's climb to #1 is questionable. The Auburn win was impressive but the TAMU win looks irrelevant and that was a big part of what catapulted them.

I'll be surprised if Bulldogs beat Bama personally but well have to wait and see.

It's the accent breh. Shortly after he won the heisman, he was on the Dan Patrick show. Dude is intelligent. A legit 3.4 gpa at his school. He's from the same area as Bo Jackson and he wasn't a speech savant either. He's country but he's not stupid.

That has NOTHING to do with THIS season. The eye test this year will show you that they aren't the best team in the country. It does NOT matter either; they'll win out and go to the 4 team playoff so what's the fukkin poin of bytchin about being ranked 1st or 4th? They are NOT getting left out if they are undefeated!

Mississippi State and Mississippi are 1 and 3. If anyone thinks they'll be there at the end of the season, you're insane. The ranking system is nonsense. Florida State has a much better chance than those two pretenders.
