I believe you but it’s still odd how teachers these days want to be so connected to children/“accessible”-I can see if the school issued accounts but wtf, it’s wholly unnecessary. This exchange digital and otherwise could have been avoided entirely, obviously the teacher is in the wrong.

Every teacher I know uses an unrecognizable name as well as makes it private. I can only hope the ones that do are using vanilla school purpose profiles.

This school is part of Florida’s magnet program which basically places intelligent students together for advanced learning. Not that it matters, but this wasnt no “hoodrat” or “thug” this teacher put their hands on. It was one of the city’s brightest.

Even if it was a hoodrat or thug, adults and especially not teachers shouldn’t be putting their hands…on…kids/minors? Over words? Nor arguing with them/accessing the same space online?
