Hurricanes hit both states, but it doesn't snow in FL.
Both states will have large concentrations of Spanish speaking residents, if that matters.
If you enjoy beaches, FL won't be beat with both Gulf & Atlantic coast lines.

I always enjoy my trips to TX tho. The size of the state isn't to be fukked around with. I remember driving with my cousin to San Antonio (air force), and when we reached the state line, we still had like fukkin 6hrs to go.

Florida is a big ass state, Dade/Broward/PB is a tiny portion of the state, and it doesn’t represent the state as a whole either. The state as a whole tried to slide in with the whole MIA Caribbean vibe, but I think the world saw the deal when that Trayvon (rest in paradise young brother) shyt went down. Real shyt Florida in recent years has been looked at as more redneck-ish, and that’s closer to the next door neighbor state I know. Ain’t shyt in Georgia that comes close to the red neck fuccery you’ll see in a place like Fort Walton Beach

Panhandle + North Florida hicks going toe to toe with anything Georgia bringing to the table. Amd it’s a decent amount sprinkled in down south too. And it’s more of the Florida ones just off sheer numbers alone. Breh white people with money who don’t like what Atlanta is perceived as, move to the Panhandle or Charleston. That’s a sign of moving up for them. No way in hell you gonna tell me the go to preferred destination for every last redneck up my way isn’t hicked the fukk out. Florida as a state got more people than NY as a state, and South Florida only bout a third of that. I fukk with FLA the long way, was in Dade running around in my teens, pulled up in Tally on the regular for FAMU shyt, Duval always popping, and I got fam in Orlando. But it’s got plenty of rednecks breh, a whole lot of them. I think FLA folks try to latch on to what MIA is and a lot of folks in Dade don’t even claim y’all.

Trayvon Martin had nothing to do with rednecks. It had more to do with old people. There's a lot of retirees in Florida all over the country. The got nothing to do but sit on juries a ride around in golf carts and stuff. You got some rednecks in Florida a whole lot of them but they little bit more benign than the Rednecks and Georgia Alabama Mississippi and Texas.
