....I would actually be surprised if this were made. I was expecting this to happen in september. so floyd could get a tuneup and canelo could get a fight vs somebody legit to at least build some hype. but fukk it. I think this is a much more dangerous fight than people are expecting. lets be honest. canelo would whoop anybody's ass out there from 147-154 excluding sergio martinez. trout would be really tough but I think canelo would eventually wear him down and get the stoppage. who else...cotto, bradley, guererro, lara, bundrage?...hell nah. and even before last week I thought he would KO pac. people might think i'm crazy but I think is gonna be a much tougher fight for floyd than cotto. and lets not forget...floyd didn't exactly look his best vs cotto. that was the most flush i've seen him get hit since castillo. floyd doesn't move like he used to. if he gets caught with some of those same shots from canelo, it could be a whole different story.people say canelo hasn't fought anybody...he's all hype. a lot of the great fighters at one point hadn't really fought anybody. they had to beat somebody great to prove their hype was legit. so we gotta give canelo his credit for stepping up to that challenge. he finally manned up and told goldenboy he wanted floyd, cotto, or martinez...nobody else. and now he has his chance to make history. I think this is gonna be a dangerous fight for both of em.

What does this have to do with fighting Floyd though? Canelo will be lucky to land any flush power shots. This fight won't even be close, Canelo isn't ready just yet.
All it takes is one shot. Floyd makes fighting look easy that why he's so great, but he has 50 percent chance of losing every time he steps in the ring. Who would have thought Marquez would finish Pac?
All I'm saying is Floyd is not picking easy fights, he picking legit challengers.
And if Canelo is ready now when he's youth and vigor on his side, then he never will be. Wasn't Floyd already champion when he was his age anyway I'm not sure, but I think so.
