He won, he gettin more than 3 mill easy. Robert Guerrero aint shyt.

Damn chino knockin it out in the ring and in the negotiation table :wow:

Guerrero got 3 mil guaranteed + a portion of the PPV revenue. And he was probably less known than Maidana.

That Argentine TV rights money is going to be practically pennies.

are you fukking kidding me? pennies? no way. he's a national hero going against Goliath of the boxing world, dude is going to bank hella hard. argies are super nationalistic on the global stage.

He wont bank Floyd hard, but he'll make a cool 3-4mil off argentina alone, for sure.

How was it? They were among the least welcoming South American countries in that thread you made.
not at all. they were very friendly, I just had the least fun because at the time I was very young (23) and I wanted to turn up like vegas, and Buenos Aires wasnt it, its a very mature city, lot of tango, wine sipping and mature steak dinners, emphasis on quality/brand, but I was young didn't care about all that, new to traveling and wanted lots of drugs and fast women. but my age now? I would probably have a great time there. Again, they were very nice, the women were flawless and I overheard them calling me 'cute chocolate man' in spanish. They sorta look like israeli chicks. I was there for 3-4 weeks, but I got bored fast. Too mature for me at the time.

I was there awhile ago, shortly after the 2000 bankruptcy.....but you should check out a movie called '9 Queens'. Tell me that's a third world country. most def its not. In fact I can't even go there like I did back then, back then the dollar was 1:3, but now I hear its 1:1 again. You can't just go over there and snag jobs like it was back in the day. It was a golden time to travel in the early 00s because they had an epic economic crash, the dollar was like gold lol, but they've since recovered and they're back to proper modern 1st world status. Man I miss those days, S.A was super cheap. It still is, but it wasnt like then. that shyt was like China/Thailand/Cambodia cheap back then. nikka was eating proper argie steaks and rum for like $10. that's like eating Kobe steak and sake for $10 :wow:

Actually I just checked and it seems like the conversion is 8 to 1 now. :wtf:

but looking at the prices of hotel and apartments, all they did was just raise the prices. My take is that they didn't inflate the peso as they are no longer connected to the IMF, but want to keep trading deals connected with neighboring poor countries like Paraguay, Uruguay, and Bolivia. So what they did was keep the peso down, but raise the prices of shyt IN argentina. clever.

no...no it's not. one of if not the most modern country I'd been in S.A. but that doesn't even matter, you think pac ain't banking off Philippines PPV? shiet, they go hard for that dude, when he fights, shyt gets shut down.
Did you go into other cities or just Buenos Aires?

And the dude was claiming Maidana would make about 2-3 million in Argentine TV rights. I am skeptical of that figure.
There is still money to be made there friend.
Of course, just not 2-3 million for a guy who is not a big name in Argentina.

Yea the media estimating 3-4 mil. honestly man I agree with them. Argies got money man, I'd say they are the richest outside of Brazil and Uruguay (Argentina's
canada lol) . :ehh: Ask Europe, they know about Argentina a lot better than Americans. They have a pretty legit society I must admit.

I was there for a little under a month and stayed in B.A and Santa Fe, which oddly enough is where Maidana comes from, but he's from a very very rural area, and no I didn't go to that city/rural spot, but what I did get from them is they are very very nationalistic. meaning he's huge there. they would pay the money for ppv and bars will be full. After Mexico I would say Argentina could hold it's own in boxing revenue in S.A, no lie. :ehh: I mean a possibility of an argie beating the greatest boxer of our era? taking the title to argentina? thats huge man.

and this is coming from a Mayweather stan. man americans are sleeping on the global money, the world aint like what it was in the 90s, early 00's, shyt is real out here. money is to be made globally. Maidana made a great deal considering he's a nobody in the States.

I read that on another article. shyt had me like :wtf:

He's getting paid half the amount that Guerrero & Ortiz got paid. I wonder if Maidana taking such a small portion of the purse is behind Floyd choosing him over Khan. :patrice:
khan is up next if he wins tonight
