...Revenues for fights have gotten a boost in recent years through the addition of high-definition telecasts. The Guerrero fight cost $60 for the regular telecast and $70 for the HD version on most cable systems. The buys were split about 60-40 in favor of HD. If Alvarez-Mayweather can attract 1.6 million PPVs, the gross from PPV will likely hit $105 million and mean a $50 million haul for Mayweather....

Brehs, is it too late to start boxing at 30? This nikka finna earn my whole past, present, and future lineage's income in one night :wow:

He been earning your whole past, present and future lineage's income his whole career. Should've roided up and picked up a baseball and a bat. Easier to accomplish if not ask A-Fraud.

Hitting a major league pitch is one of the hardest thing to do in the world. Taking an azz whooping like Canelo's about to do? Sh*t I could that right now :manny:

Word, people don't realize how hard it is to hit a major league pitch....If you get a hit in 27% to 30% of your at bats you're doing a good job.

At least Canelo is bringing something to the table tho....So it's not like he's just taking an asswhooping. He's bringing half the audience/money.

But yeah I'd love to go in there and take an asswhooping for a few million.

Well before the purses weren't that big. The last big megastar in the heavyweight is Vladimir, and he's never earned that much as far as I know, meanwhile Mario Williams getting like a $94 million dollar contract. But if you see a heavyweight star emerge and get like a $30 million dollar payday, trust you will see a lot of nikkaz like :patrice: :mjpls:

The fight will do WAY MORE than 1.6 ... Mosley did 1.5 ... This one will do like 2.4...

Mayweather will, all in all, make over $100 million or so for this one fight.

Only thing, don't say, "one night"...

Floyd works probably damn near 40 hours a week...

-He has to train
-He has to do promotions
-He has to talk to his advisors
-He has to send out promotional tweets
-He has to make sure his team is getting paid and they are all doing what they're supposed to be doing
-Has to make sure accountants aren't screwing him
-Has to eat healthy and not drink
-He has to be subject to random blood and urine testing

*He has to make sure he doesn't get hurt while doing all the above, otherwise the fight goes down the drain.

*Has to take time to clear his head from all the above stress (we all take breaks, but the stress of possibly losing your first fight EVER >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The stress of a normal 9 to 5 job)

-He has to go in the ring in fight

In the end, floyd pretty much works 40 hours a week, at least...

But with all that said, he still will make $80,000 an hour this year:deadmanny:

I hate it when baseball fan boys say that...

That's the only thing baseball has to stand on...

For me it makes baseball sound more like a joke of a sport, basically, you can either hit the ball or you can't...

There is no blood, sweat and tears...Which ATHELETIC sports are all about...

He's about to :heh:

That nikka made that much 40 fights ago. If you make 100,000 a year. Thats 1million in 10yrs.. oh wait, taxes. Now you closer to 600,000 so to break one million after taxes is gonna run you 17/18yrs maybe?
Now if you making less than that, well, it doesn't matter...
