he literally like the biggest draw in the the sport ofcourse he getting paid like crazy

watching floyd is like paying for a concert to see somebody who barely perform

Decent comparison.

Talking about Floyd and then asking why don't more athletes get into boxing is like talking about Michael Jackson and the money he made and wondering why everybody doesn't force their children into the music business.

Brehs, is it too late to start boxing at 30?
Good question.
The answer is no, it is not too late. You can learn to box at 30.

The real question is, can you learn to box at 30, train and compete to get good enough to become a professional? I don't know. You have to compete on the amateur level before you get your foot in the door at low-level professional bouts. You'll be up against dudes who have... the eye of the tiger.
If you think in the back of your head, if I don't make it, I can always go back to my desk job, then you won't make it. All these guys who are up-and-comers have nothing to go back to except poverty or low-paying, hard labor jobs. When you start winning pro bouts, that's when some money starts rolling in. Then you have to keep on winning, to get into bigger ticket bouts. It is a long hard road though. You can give it try though.

Only thing, don't say, "one night"...

Floyd works probably damn near 40 hours a week...

-He has to train
-He has to do promotions
-He has to talk to his advisors
-He has to send out promotional tweets
-He has to make sure his team is getting paid and they are all doing what they're supposed to be doing
-Has to make sure accountants aren't screwing him
-Has to eat healthy and not drink
-He has to be subject to random blood and urine testing

*He has to make sure he doesn't get hurt while doing all the above, otherwise the fight goes down the drain.

*Has to take time to clear his head from all the above stress (we all take breaks, but the stress of possibly losing your first fight EVER >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> The stress of a normal 9 to 5 job)

-He has to go in the ring in fight

In the end, floyd pretty much works 40 hours a week, at least...

But with all that said, he still will make $80,000 an hour this year:deadmanny:

his training twice a day 7 days a week is 40 hours by itself

I hate it when baseball fan boys say that...

That's the only thing baseball has to stand on...

For me it makes baseball sound more like a joke of a sport, basically, you can either hit the ball or you can't...

There is no blood, sweat and tears...Which ATHELETIC sports are all about...

If I put you on a MLB roster as a short stop I guarantee you'd :whoo: as a hitter connects with a 95mph fastball and it shoots through the gap right by you

Why don't you try to break a double play or beat a throw to the plate ? :umad:

I have played cricket and soccer...So, I believe, genetically, I have the ability to hit a fast ball...

I just wasn't raised in a baseball environment...

Just because something is the "hardest thing to do in all of sports" it doesn't mean that sport requires elite athleticism...

Baseball is more of a skill sport, like cricket, golf, billiards, darts and etc...

You have a genetic predisposition, and you practice...You don't need to become a "machine" to play baseball...
