The real reason that fight happened when it did had nothing to do with the fighters. Arum had Oscar & Floyd at one time. When Floyd fought Oscar was the last time Arum got any $ from Floyd because Floyd bought out his contract after that. Arum was tight about that because Oscar helped him by fighting him basically handing over the PPV throne. Manny was all Arum had left. Arum was hell bent on never helping Golden Boy or Mayweather promotions made a dime but Manny got in some $ problems so he was forced to finally make the fight. Oscar & Arum just got back cool because they teamed up to get rid of Al Haymon but Arum still is mad at Floyd. Arum was the cause of that fight being postponed.
