There's so much intersectionality in the analysis of Rhonda Rousey. She should have never beat Serena in The Female Athlete category. There are Black female athletes who are just as dominate in their fields as Rhonda. Serena has had to endure racism, and sexism that Rousey has never had to face. Her White privilege and America's glorification of Blonde Bomshells, has shielded her from the Sexism a Black Female athlete who according to many Whites is "too masculine" has to face. Rhonda Rousey literally beats up people for a living, but is viewed as more feminine than Serena,and thus viewed in a more positive light.
