Floyd is in a bracket where he can generate close to a billion dollars in revenue for the city of Las Vegas in a weekend, but instead he chooses to argue with a washed up rapper about a bytch that looks like a pig.

On instagram bragging about buying some random thot a rolls royce:what:

While true this also goes deeper than that.

It ties into the whole argument of integration and it's modern effects.

Instead of building our own we ask to eat at the table of another. Underneath his structure, his infrastructure. He will work out hands to the callous building his business. We are easily disposable and he can easily replace us with another.

On a grand scale of this is Mayweather who has the name and leverage to be something more than a worker but instead of chasing the work to actually build that, he'd rather be under the name of one already established, which in the end renders you nothing more than probably the masters best worker.

I've been thinking a lot about this lately:manny:

He just got a license in new york and now he's getting one in las vegas

The reason that Mayweather used Golden Boy in the first place is because Mayweather Promotions is not licensed to promote in Nevada. It has filed an application and will be considered by the Nevada Athletic Commission at its July 23 meeting in Las Vegas.

So, simply put, we need more black people who have the means to build empires to actually focus on doing that instead of being content working under someone else.

Been thinking this for a long time now

Read the article.

when the acquisition of a New York promoters license was reported, many were hopeful that Mayweather was ready to buckle down and start promoting but it was only to validate fighter contracts and to mask the fact that he is a glorified manager.

Then you have to question why after so many years has Mayweather promotions remained in its infancy:steven:

Cockroaches.

and the man who was his right hand, 50 Cent, said exactly the same like @Napoleon said

I don't know why the idea of establishing something generational, that creates a foundation and niche for us in this, (or anything for that matter) is something that people in positions of influence like Floyd don't really see the appeal of. Maybe its easier :ld:

Like the article's author said: "He is no different from a rich artist who bytches about the label and never gets around to running his own…because he is an artist – and it is OK if he would admit it."

Floyd doesn't do any of the admitting: "The only crime here is the bravado, the sticking of one’s toe into the shark tank and telling everybody that makes you a shark. Leonard Ellerbe is no shark and neither is anyone else unwilling to subject themselves to the scrutiny of the Nevada State Athletic Commission."
