Ohio State greater than Tennessee so must have better athletes. The state of Ohio put more players in the nfl than Tennessee. More players in the NBA then Tennessee, and more players in the MLB then Tennessee :mjlol: . All facts kid. Step your athleticism up :francis:

Tennessee is generally wack breh. Don't get me wrong. But we still part of the south and we contribute to the southern dominance in football.

FYI Jalen Ramsey (FSU) is also a Tennessee native. We getting better.

goff, lynch and wentz don't impress me at all. any team that takes them high in the first round will set themselves back.

i think elliot was easily the best RB going into this but henry really closed that gap after his performance and looks to be better built for the nfl :patrice:and buckner is looking like the #1 DLineman in this draft. he's raw but his ceiling and potential is the highest.
They said that shyt about Dion Jordan too

jordan had a few problems going for him. 1) the dolphins drafted him to play as a 4-3 OLB so he had to put on a lot of weight. he was 250 his rookie year and went to 275 the next year and it just wasn't a good fit for him. 2) he had trouble staying on the field because of a failed PED drug test and substance abuse test.

he was still effective when on the field, but adjusting to a new position stunted his growth and the suspensions ruined his career.

Coples had the same issue

I completely disagree breh. Henry is a once cut back and runs very high. That's a really bad combination. Works in college, but in the pros you're not gonna be able to just run over everybody and most likely won't have a great O-Line.

Elliot is very shifty/elusive to go along with his speed, can catch passes out the backfield, plus is great in pass protection. In the NFL, that equals 3 down back.

Edit: Unless you're talking about sheer size

I agree with everything you said. When I said better built I was talking about his size. That guy is built like a tank. I would still take Elliot as a #1 because he does everything better imo, but if I was a team like the steelers then I MIGHT take Henry to bring in another dimension to the offense. I would at least discuss it:yeshrug:

People still take 40 times as any kind of gauge? :upsetfavre:

Yes.

Would you want a Randy Moss that still ran a 4.2? Or one that ran a 4.5 in his last year?

This is especially true if you're a deep threat. However if you're a guy that stays going across the middle, i'd look at the 3 cone and 20 yard shuttle more so.

It's a combine, how are they supposed to impress you?

Make better throws. They weren't accurate in 5 & 7 step drops and didn't have any zip on their throws. I would take goff in the 2nd and that's it. Too many good players/value to pass up for any of the QBs

:mjlol:

Nikka we talking about a QBs here. And Goff is a great QB prospect.

I swear you nikkas are as gullible as the fukkin Browns themselves.

Being a great QB in this league starts with having the mental acumen to dissect the multiple defensive schemes you'll see from snap to snap and the accuracy to execute that gameplan.

And here you are talking 'I wish they threw it harder' on pointless throws against air. :mjlol:

I'm not even knocking you that much. You probably consider yourself a quality football fan, but you off base on this one. Goff is certainly a 1st round grade. He will be better than Mariota was as a rook.

for most positions in football, 40 time is nearly irrelevant unless its either exceptional or really bad. like if its in the 'normal' range youre good to go. the only real exception to this are WRs and to lesser extent DBs, but its kinda the same thing. if you run below/at 4.3 or above/at 4.7, that tells one something, but if you run almost anything in between its whatever. a lot of wrs run a 4.4 40 time, but are less quicker/faster on field as deep threats than wrs who run closer to 4.6...straight line, in-stride speed mesaurement has very few implications in football
