I've had friends I hadn't seen in a while and there's still love after seeing then again. Nothing changes in friendships, just the lives of those involved. I got plenty of friends now I haven't seen in a while. Either from focusing on work, hanging out with as few work friends, or my preference, being by myself. They understand if you do too. Long as you there for them when need be and vice versa.
