I think back to the spanish flu and their last wave ended when healthy young adults started dying within a week due to over reaction of immune system. Masking is one of the safest, easiest things to do. If they can keep mask mandates in school, that would be a good compromise.

Isn’t this the same shyt that happened in May? Then by July there was a surge again? I get it though. While I don’t mind wearing a mask because it protects you from all kind of sickness and sometimes it works as a deterrent with men(although sometimes it also doesn’t smh) approaching in public, it’s not comfortable having to always wear it. But I don’t know about this decision. I guess time will tell.
