So cannabis on the same level now as big tobacco :skip:

While still being outlawed for rec use:skip:

I'm fukking around but the cannabis studies that constantly come out these days about how it's a miracle cure for everything reminds me of the miracle cure tobacco studies that use to come out in the 1950s.

Working in healthcare in the belly of the beast, masks are not going anywhere and will become a permanent staple of PPE forever as a requirement. Personally, wearing a mask has become such apart of my attire because I work so much in hospitals and its required so it doesn't bother me to wear it wear it when I'm out in public for leisure.

What DOES bother me is when I see people getting legit angry at other people FOR wearing masks in public and even on forums such as this.

These Angry people are not healthcare professionals, never put a deceased covid person in a body bag, is not a scientist, but wants to get mad at strangers and for some even approaching strangers and shouting epithets at people for wearing one. I'm patiently waiting on the day for someone to do that me.

What another person eat, doesn't make you shyt. Whatever you subscribe to is your business but this whole mask or mask thing has become in the same realm of Politics and religion. You cannot change peoples mind on their beliefs so leave it alone.

Ima be frank with you, let it go.

I got my vaccinations on time. I have been responsible with self-isolation and what not for 2 years. I did not reject to wearing a face mask.

I was concerned when Boris announced that he was ending all measures in March. However I'd be lying if I said a part of me is not relieved now that the news have settled.

Throughout Covid, people like the OP also annoy me. You represent the other side of the extreme in the sense that you're trying to remove all risks without consideration on the mental toll it is taking on people.

I miss not having to worry about having spare masks, being able to see people's faces, not worrying about causing offence by standing too close to someone, not feeling awkward when walking on the pavement, attending events etc.

There is a point where we have to bite the bullet and get on with it.

how many people in your country went into medical debt for covid treatment? do they have to pay out of pocket for whatever therapy or drugs they need for lingering symptoms and ailments?

how many covid related gofundmes have you been asked to participate in?

That is a problem with America's appalling healthcare system.

Selfishness and low intelligence. At this point, people have been desensitized and cant fukking wait to get back to normal, inequality laden life. Folks got more smoke for vaccines and masks than they do for the billionaires who are sprinting towards trillionaire status of the backs of a very real global viral threat. Stupid fukking species humans are.

Isn’t this the same shyt that happened in May? Then by July there was a surge again? :dead: I get it though. While I don’t mind wearing a mask because it protects you from all kind of sickness and sometimes it works as a deterrent with men(although sometimes it also doesn’t smh) approaching in public, it’s not comfortable having to always wear it. But I don’t know about this decision. I guess time will tell.

Yep and that's exactly what's gonna happen again. :mjlol:

This is ridiculous but most people are stupid and politicians either don't know what to do with stupid people or they're stupid themselves.

This is a classic case of "oh you was sneaking in the ice cream huh? You like ice cream? Then here's 2 tubs of it. Eat it ALL. Oh you done? Here's some more. Keep eating :demonic:"

They're giving the ppl what they want and a lot of bodies are gonna drop. People are gonna be begging for the mask mandate before it's over with :deadrose:

So are just gonna settle in to having 1000-2500 deaths a day from this shyt? What’s the acceptable number?

This has been a chilling preview of how we’re going to react to escalating climate change.

Breh there's already 2000 ppl dying a day as we speak. Where you been? :pachaha:

US suffers highest single-day COVID death toll since darkest days of pandemic as 3,564 die Friday - but infections across the nation keep falling

  • Covid deaths in the U.S are continuing to rise despite recent case declines, with 3,564 more deaths reported Friday
  • Friday's grim toll was the highest single-day total since 3,864 died from COVID on January 28, 2021, barely a month after the first vaccines were rolled out in the U.S.
  • The U.S. logged 879,877 new infections on Friday, dropping the seven-day average to 734,302 - down six percent over the past week.
  • More than 2,000 Covid deaths have been recorded in the U.S. for the fourth consecutive day - the first time since the week of Christmas
  • Infections have fallen 6% over the past week and 11 states along the East Coast - and Illinois - are now recording decreases in cases
  • Projections from the CDC find that daily deaths can do anything from slashing in half to tripling over the next two months
  • Meanwhile, nations in Europe are starting to look past the pandemic, with the UK and France both laying out plans to drop all Covid restrictions soon
Covid deaths are continuing to rise in the U.S., even as cases have begun to fall. The nation recorded 3,564 new deaths on Friday - the fourth consecutive day where over 2,000 Covid deaths were added to the ledger, the first time that has happened since Christmas, according to Johns Hopkins University data.

Friday's grim toll was the highest single-day total since 3,864 died from COVID on January 28, 2021, barely a month after the first vaccines were rolled out in the U.S. The all-time single-day mark of 4,422 was set on January 20, 2021, according to Johns Hopkins.

Breh please don't take this the wrong way but.....

Nikka eff you and your mental state! It's better to be alive and needing therapy then being dead or suffering long term health issues from covid. You think you the only one that's been affected by the restriction?

I feel the same exact way! But I'm mature enough to recognize that the restrictions are necessary to my health. I get a little depressed wanting life to go back to normal sometimes. But me wanting it and wishing for it aint gon change the reality of what we are dealing with.

Okay you been wearing your mask and getting your vaccine. You want a cookie or something my Ninja? You doing what you SUPPOSED to do.

You protecting yourself and your family. What more do you want?

Taking off your mask and pretending that Covid no longer exists ain't gonna make the virus go "oh no they don't believe in me anymore:damn:"

Breh that covid is about to walk up one side of yall and down the other. Watch what I tell you.
