Amir Kahn landed a couple of very clean shots early in the fight. A jab to the body and a one-two upstairs. .

Khan landed another jab to the body after that but meanwhile Canelo found the range to the body and was timing the left hook. Alvarez would eventually catch Amir clean with Amir rushing in. And another leaping in, after Amir landed to the body once more.

Amir ran the rest of the first round and Canelo began to find the range with the right hand to the body from distance. The same right to the body that he would eventually feint to win the fight.
