True, football has the worst contracts, but the NFL creates the best fan experience, so in a strange and twisted way, it's all for us. Plus it creates parity.

One thing you can say for sure (save for the few JaMarcus Russell types) every player on the field is giving you 100% every time. That coupled with the fan experience equals the best value in sports.

As fans, we should definitely be a lot more appreciative of football players.
-They play in the worst conditions during the worst time of the year
-They put in just as much time as basketball or baseball players, but only for 16 regular season games.
-Wearing helmets takes away from their marketability therefore decreasing their earning potential
-Only sport with 'skilled' positions (all baseball/basketball positions are skilled) this plus the fact that you have 53 man rosters creates a class system

Yall nikkas saying ya'll would skew yall children to play in the NBA, do you know what your chances are to have to make an NBA team? It damn sure aint as close to making an NFL team. Yeah I agree they contracts is fukked up especially compared to how much revenue they pull in, but in a way as already stated is what makes it bar none the best sports league in America.

Baseball players eat

almost too much. juan uribe of the dodgers is a rotation player hitting below .200 and he makes as much as matt forte :snoop:

i know the lifespan of running backs is short, its easy to fill through the draft or undrafted FA, and they don't really lead you to Super Bowl victories like in past years but they deserve more

Thats the thing... Kickers can play 20+ years so they still raking in the $$$ the problem is...when it comes to football,Not many of us (blacks) want our sons, brothers to be the kicker. Kickers are looked at "soft". I believe none of us rememeber or have seen a black field goal kicker. (Reggie Roby was a Punter R.I.P).

former buccaneers and vikings kicker Donald Igwebuike was black.

Horrible explanation

How so? That's 5 times as many opportunities for NBA teams to earn revenue. Also you gotta consider the point someone else made about the roster size & that means more money is going to less players in the NBA. The only reason NFL contracts are competitive is because of TV money.
