I have actually played SH on an unofficial PC port I wont wish this fukkery onto anyone else, but at least it was playable

Playing the 1st one when I was in like 7th grade had me at first.

You play through RE1 and 2 and think you seen some shyt. One of my boys told me about silent hill and how scary it was and I was like oh ya? How many zombies am I gonna be blasting in this one?

Popped that shyt in, immediate unsettling silence in the game save for a scratchy radio. This is cool. Little to no visibility of my surroundings because of the weather. Even better. And then...

A bunch of mutilated demonic looking midgets corner me in a back alley me and start shanking me until I bleed out...then I wake up.This is the beginning of the game Game on.

shyt had me and I was hooked. 1st and 2nd like everyone else has been saying are the best, 3's not bad, even played through most of homecoming or whatever one it is that you start off confined to your apartment.

Damn. I don't know what series had the better first two games- RE or SH.

I remember when the first one came out..I used to let my homeboys play that first sequence and nikkas would be SHOOK..lol.. classic game...first 2 was unfukkwitable...3 game was great...4th wasnt even supposed to be a Silent Hill game..and I liked Homecoming...

the pyramid head and the nurses should have only been in the 2nd game...cause they were tied to James' psych..noone else shouldve been able to see them

I remember being completely shook of the first game. Could only play it 30 mins at a time. The atmosphere of that game is just crazy.

Silent Hill 2 was incredible at the time it was released IMO.

That pyramid head came out and if you weren't on your toes...

There is one scene in particular which I had no idea wtf was going on and dude took me out...I was scared as shyt and didn't play anymore till the next day
