I thought he committed suicide in between seasons 3 and 4. I didn't think they kept him in solitary for years. I'm surprised they just didn't throw him back on the first ship to Earth and let him rot in a cell

Edit: NVM he did die between seasons. I just had to rewatch and see that it was the younger Ed and Danielle that found it
