For all the hate the Warriors get they should be the prototype

irrelevant.
But by your definition, name all the super teams that have existed.

I just want to know how many teams we are comparing here.

:jbhmm:
Including us......I'd say 5

Heatles
Doc's Celtics
Lakers when they signed Malone and GP
Lakers when they got Dwight and Nash

The Sperms should too ,you're absolutely right.

I mentioned the Warriors as people try to paint them as buying success/championship

This isn't true. People shyt on KD for hoping on the gravy train and even that has died down for the most part. I have literally never heard anyone suggest this about the Warriors. If they did say it they would sound pretty dumb considering there is a salary cap and max contracts and KD actually took less to go there. Beyond that no one really cares about stuff like that because half this site would jizz themselves if the Lakers were actually allowed to buy success/a championship.

People hate the Warriors for the same reason they hate every other top team that isn't theirs. And honestly they aren't even hated like that. It's hilarious how people try to act like this shyt is new or anywhere near the worst example that we have seen...especially considering what we just saw in MIA just a couple years ago.

Then fukked it all up by being cheap and arrogant.

I hope that will be a lesson to any small market team that is ever in that position again.

ALWAYS keep a potential top 5/10 player. Especially if your not a destination city.

Fixed

They thought they were the Spurs and the smartest people in the room. Losing a player like that over $4 mil when he still had a year left on his deal isn't just about being cheap, it's about ego. The worst part is, the league has trended towards "smallball" and they would have had a GOAT caliber smallball squad all in their primes right now.

Well they got Steph on a hilariously cheap contract because of his ankle problems...

They were then able to use that money that they didn't pay Steph to pretty much pay Iggy, who has been an integral part of that team...

And there are only two reasons why they were able to sign durant...how little they were paying steph...and the explosion of cap space...

So...no...the warriors are not the prototype...because that entire team is really built around the fact that they got steph for ultra cheap and he more than panned out as a player, and the explosion in salary cap allowed them the room to sign another gawd tier player like KD...those two things are not going to happen again for another franchise...

3 of our 4 best players was drafted by the organization. Can't say that about any other superteam that ever existed.
this...I'm strictly referring to their top players being drafted by them. Y'all underestimate how hard that is

The whole offseason centered around people saying "super teams " are bad for the league.

When this isn't a typical super team.
