The whole offseason centered around people saying "super teams " are bad for the league.

When this isn't a typical super team.

For starters you had plenty of people riding for the opposite view. This is nothing like 2010 when it was damn near unanimous.

Secondly the term "superteam" is stupid and a product of hate itself...hate that the Warriors haven't come close to experiencing.

Lastly and most importantly none of these people were saying what you said about them buying chips.

The commissioner is on record of not really agreeing with the current Warriors team :dwillhuh:

Did he say they bought their success? :francis: This is post #2 where you are avoiding the main reason I even quoted you in the first place.

One person not agreeing=hate the likes of which we have never seen? :dead:

I guess you take it back :manny:

Starting off with "for all the hate the Warriors get" suggests there is something abnormal or extreme about the level of hate they get relative to previous teams in their position. There isn't.

I gave you the benefit of the doubt. If that wasn't what you were implying then it's just silly baseless whining...but I guess you see nothing wrong with that.

At least I responded directly to everything I was called on rather that attempting to shift the discussion and then straight up trolling because I had nothing. I see what it is. I'll leave you alone.

Curry's on a ridiculous cheap contract thx to his ankle issues. It was a bargain for the Warriors even for the old Steph, but right after he signed the contract his ankle issues virtually vanished and he suddenly became 300% better than he was prior to signing. That almost never happens.

Draymond was also a stroke of incredible fortune as nobody expected him to ever have the kind of impact he does, and it only came about as a result of losing one of their best players to injury.

Then getting Durant after losing the 3-1 lead was also unprecedented and only possible because of the cap jump happening at the exact right time, on top of the fact that you're probably never gonna see another top 3 player in the league jump ship to the super team that just eliminated him in bitter fashion.

All of the personalities seem to fit together and the best player being paid like a role player hasnt affected chemistry. Then you have solid vets willing to sign for cheap in hopes of ring chasing, as a result of the '15 championship, which itself was the result of even more unlikely scenarios all falling into place and everything breaking Golden State's way.
