Call me crazy, but I overtip like a trick. If my bill comes to 10 I'm tipping 5 whatever the service. I'm also one of those customers who walks in knowing what I want and do my eating in 20-30 minutes and leave my space spotless.
I feel if a person doesn't want to or can't tip, they need to go to mcdonalds. I never visit a place if I am not sure I can leave a generous tip. Blame my mama for that shyt.

I threw down a couple more dollars. 
Tipped close to 50 % . I felt good

Exactly. Especially if you worked that job. I just got through with a yearlong bid with Walgreens. Highest sales in our district but still in the red. Foot traffic from the nearest suburbs and the hood and we were constantly understaffed. New hires, of which there were many with the rate of turnover, would call off regularly within the first couple weeks and not get fired for it. Nowadays everybody wants to dig in your pockets....the preacher...friends...panhandlers...government...waiters/servers...police...to say the least.
